Current Career Opportunities Lead Carpenter * On-site management of the construction job. *Accountable for production and coordination of all labor, materials and trade contractors related to the actual remodeling and renovation, from inception to final completion. *Establish standard operating procedures based on evaluation of methods of construction. *Maintain job records, plans, specifications, change orders, and reports. *Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications. *Responsible for meeting completion deadlines and performance of all carpentry work. *Ability to consult with engineers, architects, and owners on design problems. *Ability to assign work and supervise employees on the job. *Order, inspect, and verify deliveries of materials and products. *Solve problems, make quick, accurate decisions, and take responsibility for all decisions made. *Maintain high degree of integrity. Motivate subordinates, trade contractors, and loyalty toward the company. Carpenter *Skilled and experienced craftsman with own tools, and the competency to use them with expertise. *Under the direction of the lead carpenter. *Carpenter will constantly learn new skills and handle new responsibilities for the means of becoming a lead carpenter over a period of time. *Duties include, but are not limited to: framing, concrete work, trim carpentry, drywall, roofing, additions, painting. *Accurate analyzation of blue prints and architectural designs.
