This is the general process when ICON REMODELING starts on a project:

1.  Consider project context and client's needs, timeline and budget.  Establish compatibility with ICON.  (by telephone)

2.  Free consultation on site to look at potential project.  Discuss possibilities for reaching homeowners goals.  Very preliminary estimates.  Determine whether T&M or Design contract.

3.  If Time & Materials (T&M) contract  go to 6. If Design contract got to 4.

4.  Design contract to specify scope and details.  Conceptual, schematic and final design reviewed incrementally with client to reach ideal design solution.  When design is approved detailed bid estimate can be generated.

5.  Value engineering, refine scope and bid to fit budget.  Final price established.   

6.  Construction contract signed by homeowner.  Payment schedule outlined in contract.

7.  Schedule work/timeline for production.

8.  Change orders through course of job, usually generated by client or unforeseen circumstances, remodeling occasionally has surprises.  May also affect price and timeline.

9.  Job completed.  Customer is thrilled and refers ICON REMODELING to their friends.
