Owners Vali Mahak and Robert Myers founded the company in 1990, each bringing decades of construction management and remodeling experience. Vali Mahak: principal, in charge of production. Vali is licensed as a general contractor in both Utah and California. He graduated in Construction Management from the Salt Lake Community College in 1990 and has both creative design and construction management experience in his home country as well as the United States. He has 4 1/2 years experience in cinematography and is an outdoorsman skilled in mountaineering, rock-climbing, hiking and skiing.
Robert Myers: principal, in charge of management. BS in Management, University of Utah (’70). Many years of experience as a carpenter, foreman, and general contractor in both Utah & Wyoming before starting a business in Salt Lake in 1987. Currently, he is serving on the board of a local non-profit organization and is active in cross country skiing, hiking, backpacking and mountaineering. OFFICE STAFF Sam Gowans: Estimator/Project Manager has over 12 years of experience including new construction in both residential and commercial construction, remodeling of both residential and commercial, historically correct restoration of residential, commercial, and industrial structures. Other than work Sam is passionate about the outdoors and spending time with his family. Nima Mahak: office manager, responsible for accounting process of the company. BS in Economics, Westminster College 2005. When he is not working diligently in the office you'll find him up at Alta, skiing the deep stuff.
